SHADOW WARRIOR
BY MICHAEL SINCLAIR
The Shadow Warrior is a lost Soul.
He feels the pain of everyone.
But he is disiplined.
You don't know him, but you see him everyday.
He is the guy who comforts you when you are hurt.
Advises you when you need advice.
Is on the front lines when you are threatened.
He is the misunderstood one of the world.
The Shadow Warrior know his
place and what he must do.
He what to settle down and raise a family.
No one will give him the chance.
His life is constant shadows.
You do not see him, but he is there watching over you always.
The Friends he has are few but true.
Nobody wants to acknowledge him
when the battle is over.
They all want him when the fight begins.
All his roads are long and grey.
Will he ever find the one True person to share his life with?
All the people he know when young have grown to adults and
have children of their own.
All he really wants is one special woman to settle down with.
Sometime he is lost and is looking for his way!
He acts fearless and like he has no emotions!
If people would just look into his eyes they would see.
That there is fear, but he uses it to accomplish his tasks.
There are emotions, but he doesn't know how to express them.
Beautiful Lady take his hand and show him the wonders of a
gentle life.
Tend his wounds, run your fingers across his scars.
Help him to put his warriors Life behind him.
Hold him, kiss him, Love him!
For only thought Love and patience will you win him and start the process of healing.
Take him from that grey road before he destroys himself.
Show him the Light, Lead him to Safety.
Show him the Love and what it can do.

FRESH ICE BOX PICKLES.
INGREDIENTS:
1 Bunch of Dill
4 Cloves of Garlic
8-12 Pickling Cucumbers
3 Cups of Water
6 Tbsp of Distilled Vinegar (5% acidity or above)
3 Tbsp of Pickling Salt
INSTRUCTIONS:
~ Place one minced garlic into each quart size jar
~ Add a few sprigs of dill to each jar
~ Don't stress about the exact amount, each jar will be different each time
~ Cut Pickles into spears or any shape you wish
~ Pack them into jars without forcing them in
~Combine Water, Vinegar, and Salt and stir until the salt is completely dissolved
~Pour brine into jars until cucumbers are completely covered
~ Add a few more sprigs of dill on the top
~ Screw on lids and rings
~ Refrigerate for 2 AGONIZING DAYS!!!
As I said, we spiced it up a bit by adding sliced jalapenos & sweet onions to a few jars.
2 Days, 2 whole days and we will be back with a report on how they taste! And I doubt they will be anything but perfect!
NOTE: If your pickling cukes are a bit soft and not crisp, place them into a bucket of VERY cold water for a little bite. That will crisp them up for you. This works for carrots, beets, and green beans as well.

SERVES: 9-12

Delicious strawberry cinnamon rolls made with Lucky Leaf Pie filling and a quick and easy dough recipe! These will be in the oven in no time at all!
INGREDIENTS
Dough Ingredients:
3¼ cups flour
2 tsp instant yeast
¼ cup white sugar
½ teaspoon salt
1 egg
¼ cup water
¾ cup milk
⅓ cup butter, softened
Filling Ingredients:
21 ounce can Lucky Leaf Strawberry Pie Filling
2 teaspoons cinnamon
½ teaspoon sugar
Lemon Cream Cheese Frosting:
4 ounce cream cheese, softened
3 Tablespoons butter, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
¼ cup half and half
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 Tablespoon lemon zest (one lemon)
1 teaspoon vanilla
INSTRUCTIONS
To make the dough: In a small saucepan over medium low heat add the milk and butter. Stir until the butter has melted and remove from heat. Let stand until luke warm temperature.
In a large mixing bowl whisk together 2¼ cups flour, yeast, sugar, and salt. Add to the stand mixer with dough hook attached. (You can also make this by hand, just knead until smooth once all of the ingredients are added.) Add the egg and water and mix until just starting to combine. Slowly add in the milk mixture and 1 cup of flour until the dough starts to form and become smooth. Let the dough rest for 10 minutes.
On a lightly floured surface, roll the dough into a large 9×15 square. About ¼-1/2 inch thick. Spread strawberry pie filling evenly on top of the dough. In a small bowl combine the cinnamon and sugar and sprinkle on top of the strawberry filling. Roll up the 15 inch side into a log and pinch the seams. Cut into 9-12 slices depending on how thick you want your cinnamon rolls. Place in a greased 9×13 inch pan and cover with a damp cloth and let rise for 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Bake for 30 minutes or until just golden brown on the tops.
To make the glaze: Beat together the cream cheese, butter, and powdered sugar until smooth. Add the half and half, vanilla, lemon juice and lemon zest until combined. Frost over warm cinnamon rolls and enjoy!

Fava beans. They are very easy to grow, they just need watered daily to produce well. They are used for Hoodoo Magick Rootwork, Italian witchcraft and used as Ancestor or Spirit offerings. In Hoodoo, they are Wishing, Lucky, or Mojo beans and used for just that. They will also grow easily in an old milk jug in your kitchen. They are a tall plant that takes up little space.  ~BB~
