HOMEMADE LAUNDRY SOAP
1/3rd cup per load. ~BB~
-grate 1 bar Dove soap
-place grated soap in one gallon of water and bring to boil until all flakes are melted. (Remember to stir clockwise only with a wooden spoon for well wishes and ask any blessings for you family, as this will be used on the clothing warming their bodies.)
-pour hot soapy water into a 5 gallon bucket.
-SLOWLY add 3/4 cup Borax, stir
-VERY VERY SLOWLY (or it will bubble up all over your kitchen!) add 1 1/2 half cups of baking soda. Stir
-Add two more gallons of cold water to the bucket. Stir
-cover and let set 24 hours stirring occasionally.
-Bottle in old jugs or milk jugs. It will make about 6 large size laundry detergent bottles. I just saved some old bottles when I used to buy soap.
